Commissoning Process @ Two Four

BBC commission TwoFour to produce 6 ½ hour programmes.

 

 

TwoFour need staff to meet that commission from initial ideas to finished product.

 

 

Someone like like mysef (FREELANCE / SELF EMPLOYED) approach production company (E.G. TWOFOUR)

 

 

Get Contract.

 

 

Contracted to work on production. Contracts last from 3 weeks to 6 months depending on programme commissioned & weather its high budget (starcks school of design) or low budget (hotel inspector)

 

          

 

 Work on the production.

 

 

Production goes to air, depending if it pulls in the viewers, may get re-commissioned again if so  your contract gets renewed.

 

If  contract not renewed, contract expires, or if the production company have more commissions & you were good, may get contract renewed to work on the new commission.
